Why we built it

Plenty of people have a story. Very few can draw sixty pages of it and keep one character looking like the same person throughout.

Mori reads the story you paste, finds the people in it and settles how each one looks before it draws a single page. You read the result as a chapter, top to bottom, and you can publish it for other readers.

What it does

  • 01

    Paste a story

A scene, a chapter or a bedtime story. Mori counts the words and tells you how many pages it will make.

  • 02

    Pick a look

Mori draws your opening scene four ways: shōnen action, painterly, webtoon and classic comic. You choose one.

  • 03

    Meet your cast

Mori lists each character with the details it found, like a teal raincoat or a rust-red scarf. You can change a look before any page is drawn.

  • 04

    Read it, then publish it

Pages arrive one by one and you can start reading before the chapter is finished. Publishing puts it in front of other readers.

It gets its own site when it opens. Until then, ask us anything about it.
